This workshop will include expert speakers and space for discussion to raise awareness and identify priorities for users on the topic of the large wealth of upcoming atmospheric data. Participation is open.

This event will bring European service and data providers, experts from weather offices and environmental agencies together, to discuss atmospheric data as a whole. It will encompass all present and future data sources, ranging from Copernicus (Sentinel, CAMS), to supporting datasets (upcoming and contributing missions of EUMETSAT Satellite Application Facilities (SAFs)).

The event is open, with six sessions in total (two per day). Each session will consist of informative live presentations by EUMETSAT and European experts, followed by a moderated open discussion. The presentations will address upcoming EUMETSAT and Copernicus data, existing services, examples of applications and available data products provided by EUMETSAT and CAMS, perspectives and any related user needs.

The outcome of this event will prepare the ground for a series of thematic webinars, as well as a user survey.
